Open For Business and Raring To Go!

Celene's Treasure Chest brick and mortar store in Coffee, Illinois is open for business once again! We were closed for the winter season. I decided to close this year for the winter as the economy has been slow and the heating bills so outrageously high. My lil' country store is located in a wonderful old building that was built in 1882, so needless to say it gets a little drafty in the winter. My crafting buddy and I were a little burned out from the hectic frenzy of preparing for and participating in craft fairs last fall and Christmas season. We needed a break. So we closed from Jan-March. It was a time of rejuvenation and healing for both of us. Pam has a heart problem that acted up a bit this winter, she is doing very well now. I have a torn ligament in my knee, which God is healing for me as well. Anyway, we are back! We decided not to go at the crafting end of things quite so hard this year. We wore ourselves out last year. We will still have lots and lots of primitives in the store and online, just not going to kill ourselves making so much inventory for the craft shows. We probably won't be in as many this fall. We have been opened since the first weekend of April and things are going very well. I'm enjoying being back and seeing all my customers and friends. I missed them alot. I have added a several new things to Celene's Treasure Chest Come on by and take a look.
Until next time...Prim Hugs and God Bless!
